Gilbert Days 2009 is going to ROCK like never before with the theme Rock ‘N’ Rodeo! The annual rodeo and events are scheduled for November 13th through the 22nd and will be held at the Gilbert Rodeo Grounds. This makes 31 consecutive years of fun celebrating Gilbert, Arizona’s rich western heritage, and you can partake if you look into scenic homes for sale in Val Vista Lakes and make a purchase! Kicking off the celebration will be a re-enactment of the historical Pony Express ride. Next will be events for cowgirls and cowboys from across the country to compete in Jackpot Roping, Barrel Racing and the Gilbert Days Rodeo.
Before each adult rodeo competition, the little ones get to compete in the Lil’ Dudes Rodeo. Right next to the Gilbert Rodeo Park arena is the Gilbert Days Carnival, with rides, games, prizes, and mouth-watering concessions.
